Hello my darlings...
Despite the name of this place, 'freakshow' we do need some rules around here, not to transform this place into a war zone or a zoo...
We'd appreciate it if you'd respect the few rules listed here... if not we'll make sure you'll respect them... we're always watching and we have ears and eyes everywhere... sooooooo....
1. BE NICE!
Being nice is the most important thing... you are all here after a day of work, or maybe even during it and I'm pretty sure you're not keen on being bitched about, or bitching about other people... you just want to enjoy and relax... so BE NICE or we'll bite your head off!!!! (just kidding... but our teeth are really sharp
)
2. Do not use leet language... it is quite annoying and confusing, and honestly we don't think you enjoy reading messages written like that yourself.
3. If you have a problem with your account, please do not create another one, but contact us (admins) and we will try to take care of this problem as soon as possible
4. Do enter a valid e-mail address when you register.
Why is this important? Because you need to activate your account, because if there are changes that take place we'd like to know how to tell you about it...
5. Do not post fan fictions, or poems which are not yours. Or if you do so, please specify who's the author and do not take credit for their work.
If you expect the others to respect you, you have to respect them.
6. "Strong language is allowed. This is not a kindergarden! We are all grown up people!" is like one of our guidelines
7. If you enter in an argument or polemic with another member of the forum please DO NOT do it on the forum... you have personal messages, e-mails and msn to do that. IF it happens to be all over the forum, we'd appreciate some apologies for it, and a white flag waved at the end of it.
8. If you want to bitch about Placebo... now... well we understand that there are things you might not like about them, but we don't want to see a remark like "what a shitty band!" without an explanation why you think so... (we are pretty understanding and we do know people have different tastes and opinions...) after all this is a Placebo community so you should respect that.
9. DO NOT lurk on the forum... We understand that some people are shy, but then again think about the members who see 'guests' who look around, know all about their private lives without actually knowing who those people are... don't be shy, register and post... you won't be eaten alive
10. Concerning Placebo: No Member's personal life talk would be allowed, or in really restricted conditions. We are supposed to be fans of their BAND, so liking their MUSIC. Their personal life is none of our business. So you know who Brian is with? good for you, but don't waste your time with it over here. The only things allowed would be things that members SAID PUBLICLY and for pics, only pics that the members allowed to take. No "stolen" kind of paparazzi pics. We are not one of those shitty gossip mags. Show these men some respect PLEASE.
11. About the Download section: It is said also in the section but I want to make myself clear: As long as you can find the thing at shops, for examples, songs or remixes that ARE on the singles or anything, or videos that are from the band's dvds, you won't find them in the download section. Any link to something that can be find at shops in cds or dvds will get deleted. If you still want to spread them, do it in private with others by private messages, but then we take no responsibility for that. Requests that leads to those sort of songs or videos will find a link to the CDs and DVDs from which it's taken. No download link. If you like the band, support them by buying those things
12. The last and the most important rule:
