Last night PLACEBO began their Winter 2009 Tour in Dijon, France and continuing the celebrations on from the FREE 5 track tour bundle download they released to fans on Monday, PLACEBO are delighted to launch their brand new interactive GIGS ARCHIVE on PLACEBOWORLD

So you have been to an incredible show, taken some great photographs you want to share and would like to tell the world about the show?

Visit the new PLACEBOWORLD – GIGS ARCHIVE section and you can upload your images and submit your comments about the show.

Fans in Dijon, we are very excited to let you be the first to interactive with PLACEBOWORLD and show the world the opening night of the new tour!

Now If that wasn’t enough, the new GIGS ARCHIVE section allows Fans to upload their tour memorabilia images!

Have you got a ticket stub from the Newcastle Riverside show in 1996, maybe a FUJI ROCK T-shirt from 2000 or perhaps a Limited Edition 2007 ‘The Coronet Theatre’ tour poster ?

Come along to PLACEBOWORLD and upload your memory for the world to see.

The Tour Archive will stretch all the way back to the beginning of the bands illustrious career, and will be updated regularly through the coming weeks while PLACEBO are on the road.
So far you can see the 2009 shows the band have played already and the dates from 2007, keep checking back for more years and more shows being added all the time.

PLACEBOWORLD wants to create a collection of every single ticket stub and tour poster there ever was, and will hand out some spot prizes to the most obscure memory from the past, so getting searching through those old boxes of memories and get out your camera!
